I don't know much about this duo composed by Dubble & Epik, they come from Long Island, NY. They released their debut LP "Culture Shock" in 2003 according to their myspace. There's a video for this cut that feature Capleton, no need to say that he killed the version !

I don't know how to call that, if they voiced the artists themselves or if it's a sort of blend where they take Buju and Capleton a capellas to put them on the Real Rock riddim (Jammy's version). I'm not a fan of this type of "remix" generally but here it's pretty much well done, as well as I bought this two singles years ago even if it's amateur work. United 97 Crew is a little "soundsystem" from suburb of Paris composed by youngs turbulent dancehall cats, I don't know them but I saw videos they put on the net, nothing good to post here...
There's a lot of wack riddims in this One Drop era and only a fews are worth listening/buying. Definitely this Stephen 'Gibbo' Gibson's Hard Times is one of the best that were done this past years... Stephen is the son of the legendary Joe Gibbs (1943-2008) that formed the Mighty 2 with the engineer Errol Thompson (1952-2004) This is a rip from the VP's Riddim Driven vinyls series.
