"With more than a decade of experience on the mic, Grand Agent got his start on the streets of Philly with the group Name in 1995. His 2001 solo debut By Design (Groove Attack) is considered by many to be a cult classic.
GA has toured extensively throughout Europe and America and has recorded and performed live with the likes of: Common, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Madlib, Kev Brown, King Britt, Hieroglyphics, Hi-Tek, Lord Finesse, Kut Masta Kurt, Chops, Camp Lo, Group Home, Tony Touch, KRS-ONE, Planet Asia and more. Furthermore, his music has been featured in the NBC television series Kingpin, MTV’s Real World Philadelphia, a host of VH1 programs and the Brown Sugar motion picture."

"Since the beginning, the battles has been an important part of Hip Hop. It's that place where some careers are born and other are endend (remember Busy Bee and Kool Moe Dee, Melle Mel and KRS ?). The battle is crucial to the elevation of the art form because the challenge in itself encourage innovation. We at Ill Boogie Records are interested in doing our part to push the limits and raise the stakes. This is the second single in the already anticipated series known as the "Ill Boogie Battle Records.
Two set of DJs and MCs were paired up and sent into the studio separatly, armed with nothing but the same "fat track" and the same "title" to work with. Neither pair heard other's creation until both were complete. The results have been pressed up for you on a piece of premium wax ; and to complete the package, we sought two of the most respected LA graffiti artist to bomb the cover. By no means is this an effort to create static between the artists involved. This is an opportunity for MCs and DJs to do their thing and shine in good company. It's now up to you to be the judge".
